Weigh loss? Not so much.

After a successful week at the gym and a loss of almost four pounds I jump on the scale this morning to weigh in. I didn't eat any differently this weekend I only took one night off from the gym and went out drinking on Friday.

Evidently this mean I gained five pounds in one weekend. I didn't even drink beer! So, what to do? I think I'm coming to the realization that I will forever be at a weight I hate. No matter what I weigh.

I abstain from eating at night leaving me a little hungry but I can deal with it. I worked out at the gym twice yesterday totaling over three hours. I don't know what I'm sweating off at the gym, but it's obviously not fat.

Mondays suck.

  1. sounds like water retention - I don't think it's physically possible to put on 5 pounds of fat in a weekend! I've put on 3 pounds in a day just by eating too much sodium (via junk food) - couple that with certain times of the month - wow. Don't give up, just give it a few days and see what happens.
